Single Origin
Cocoa Beans

We offer cocoa beans in small presentation packs for those who want to make their own cocoa liquor and other products using top quality raw materials, with differentiated flavours and traceability from the start.

About the product

Each cocoa producing region has its own special soil and climate characteristics that produce different flavours and aromas in every one of their cocoas. Every batch is harvested by the same association, with no intermediaries. By doing this we encourage the associations to participate in the demanding international market which is an achievement that benefits both parties. For this type of cocoa, we require a drying and fermentation process that is more rigorous than usual in order to maximize its flavour and homogeneity profile. Once we receive the cocoa in our storage warehouse, it is subjected to a meticulous classification and cleaning process to remove any defective beans, dust, metals, stones and other foreign material. Finally, it is fumigated and then packed.

Packaging: 10 kg box (2 x 5 kg plastic bags)

Why we are different?

MORE THAN DIRECT TRADE – THE LUKER WAY

We work together with 45 farmers’ associations in Colombia and 2 associations in Peru. We guarantee the purchase of their harvests and support them with materials for their work and families. We train the cocoa growers in Granja Luker, our cocoa research centre. We also lend them technical support in each of the regions.

CACAO FINO DE AROMA

We go beyond origin cocoa by offering our clients Fino de Aroma cocoa from three Colombian regions and one region in Peru, with different sensorial characteristics, excellent levels of fermentation and a minimum of defective beans.

WE HAVE THE BEST PRICE FOR THE BEST COCOA

We pay the cocoa growers a fair price above market normal price for cocoa as recognition to their effort and work in achieving the characteristics demanded by the bean to bar market.

We train more than 700 people a year, more than 30,000 over the past 50 years.
